Are the Bank's interpretation services assessed for quality standards?

Our interpretation service employs certified interpreters and is subject to International Standards Organization (ISO) benchmarks including:

  • 9001:2015 Quality Management System, requiring that the service demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet statutory and regulatory requirements

  • 13611:2014 Guidelines for Community Interpreting, requiring that the service establish criteria and best practices for interpreting during oral and signed communication that enables access to services for people who have limited proficiency in the language of such services

  • 17100:2015 Translation Services, requiring that the servicer provides requirements for core processes, resources, and other aspects necessary for the delivery of quality translation services.
