I received an email / text / voicemail from someone at Northpointe Bank asking for account information. Is this legitimate?

Possibly.  If we're calling you back regarding a question you initiated via phone or email, it's likely legitimate.  

In certain instances, we will call customers to discuss unusual account activity or send text alerts for unusual debit card activity. 

However, Northpointe Bank will never contact you to ask for your card number and expiration date or for your account numbers. If someone contacts you claiming to be from Northpointe Bank and requests any of this information immediately hang up and report the incident to us via our contact options found here.
